In 2018, Maya Thai Laos Restaurant opened its doors in El Sobrante, CA, with a simple goal: to share the rich flavors of Thai and Lao cuisine with the community. But our story started long before that. Our owner and head chef, Noy, has been cooking for over 30 years. Before opening this restaurant, he was a partner and head chef at Maya Thai House in Vallejo, CA. With a deep love for cooking and a commitment to authentic recipes, he decided it was time to bring his own vision to life.
From Vallejo to San Pablo: A Dream Realized
Before opening this restaurant, Chef Noy was the head chef and co-owner of Maya Thai House in Vallejo, CA. Over time, he wanted to create something of his own—a place where family, friends, and neighbors could gather for a warm meal made with care.
